Bantams Begin WOAA Round Robin
After losing to the Minto Mad Dogs in the second round of the OMHA's, the Pinkertons Bantam Rep team begin their WOAA Round Robin today vs Walkerton Capitals.
The Bantam Reps Began their OMHA Series vs the West Grey Huskies beating them in three straight games. They then played a talented Minto Mad Dog team. The Preds lost the first game 4-3 in an exciting game. Minto scored with 4 minutes left in OT to take the first game. We travelled to Minto the next day and lost 7-2. We went back to Minto the following Saturday and played very well, only to lose 2-0.
We can now look forward to starting the WOAA Round Robin playing teams from Walkerton, Hanover, Shallow Lake and Seaforth. We start today in Lions Head, as part of Hockey Day in Canada's celebration playing the Walkerton Capitals at 6:00pm.
Come out to enjoy exciting playoff hockey with games starting at 8:00 am until 10:00pm tonight at the Lions Head arena.
The next game for the Pinkertons Bantam Reps is Tuesday night in Wiarton vs Shallow Lake Lakers. Game time is 7:00 pm
