Jr Tykes Round out Exhibition Play with Rebels
The Bruce Peninsula Tim Horton Jr Tyke Predators played their final exhibition game of the season on Tuesday night as they travelled to Desboro to play the TCDMHA Tyke #2 Rebels.

The game had plenty of offensive flare early on for both teams and can only be described as a pair of teams heading into the right direction.

Both teams have seen a big improvement in the skating and puck handling department since the first game of the season and both teams had plenty of individual skill that were put on full display as these two teams played each other to round things out before heading into the Shallow Lake Tyke Fun Day Tournament this weekend.

The Rebels and Preds traded a pair of goals early on, and we saw goaltenders from both teams display their best impersonation of Carey Price!
Mason Bell was exceptional in making big saves a couple of times throughout the game.
Great job Mason.

The game was tight for a while with a lot of scrums, but eventually the scrums would spread out and the ice would start opening up and the Predators would start to out chance the Rebel attack.

In the end the Predators would secure another victory and go into this weekend with a perfect 6 wins, no loss record.
Special Mention on the back checking efforts of Gregory Nadjiwon, Broguen McManus and Mason Bell all game long, they were key in getting the puck back numerous times in our end and pushing it back up the ice.
Great hustle boys!

Also a fantastic game for Wyatt Thomas and David Rouse and Michael Rouse for passing the puck!
Not only showing unselfish behavior, but showing some amazing creativity and hockey sense at such a early age!
Wyatt and David especially were really trying to get their team mates a goal, really cool to watch guys!

Our female flare saw Shailan Miller play really strong along the boards, digging extra hard and winning the races for the pucks out in the nuetral zone, even getting a couple of different chances on breakaways with her extra efforts.
Good job girl!

Congrats to Shane King and his staff from TCDMHA on a job well done this season, your kids played well and have improved immensely!
