Four More Games Played
The Novice Local #2 team played four more games in December.

On Saturday, December 7th the Predator's travelled to Tara to take on the AEMHA Ice Dogs.  It was a thrilling game for the parents of both teams.  Bruce Peninsula got on the scoreboard late in the first period to take a 1-0 lead.  The goal was scored by Evan unassisted.  The Predator's held onto their one goal lead for the entire second period. Half-way through the third, AE scored to even things up.  The final five minutes of play were intense as each team had opportunities to score and win the game.  Boston made some amazing saves in net.  The buzzer went to end the third period of play and the final score was 1-1.

Sunday, December 8th was the second and final game between the Novice #2 team and Shallow Lake #2 team.  The Laker's were on the board first with a goal late in the first period.  The second period of play saw the Shallow Lake team score another four times.  With 2:56 left in the second, Trey scored for the Predator's.  Unfortunately, the Novice Local #2 team was unable to out play the Laker's.  Shallow Lake won the game 7-1.

The Predator's arrived in Port Elgin on Saturday, December 14th to play against the Saugeen Shores Local #4 team.  Saugeen Shores scored late in the first period to take a 1-0 lead.  Jesse N. evened things up with an unassisted goal thirty seconds into the second period.  The momentum of the Bruce Peninsula team was disrupted as the Saugeen team scored one minute later to take the lead again.  Saugeen would score four more times in the second period and twice in the third to win the game 8-1.

December 18th saw the Novice #2 team play their last game of 2013 at home in Wiarton against Saugeen Shores #2.  Late in the first period Saugeen scored to take a 1-0 lead.  Saugeen scored again half-way through the second.  Bruce Peninsula got on the scoreboard on a goal by Evan and assisted by Noah with 4:45 left in the second.  The Predator's were trailing 2-1. The Predator's scored one more time in the third on a goal by Luc assisted by Logan and Noah. Unfortunately, Saugeen scored another four times in the second and three more times in the third to win the game 9-2.
