Great home opener
The Atom reps impressed fans last night to take the home opener in a commanding 5-0 win over Saugeen Shores AE.
The game was tight for the first period and a half until the predators stormed the net late in the second period with 3 goals in under a minute by Dylan, Daniel and then Blake who was up from the minors to fill in for Mason. The home team battled through and killed off 5 penalties and went on to add 2 more goals by Hunter and Jayden to take the game 5-0. Carter and Jack, back on defense last night, played strong in our end to help Jonathon with his first shutout of the season. Jacob and Jackson were solid on offense, passing well through the neutral zone and almost combining for a couple goals themselves. The Atoms move on to their first regular season game in Hanover Sat at 3:15. Go Preds Go.
