Pee Wee Rep Team Coming Together
With one key change in the Pee Wee Rep line up in the last few weeks, the boys have finally started to unite and work together as a team.

November 27th saw the Predator's travel to Keady to play a hard fought battle against the TCDMHA Rebels.  With Jon C. as the new permanent goalie the rest of the Reps played their positions well. The Rebels scored in the first period to take the lead.  Early in the second period Trenton assisted by Hayden evened things up for the Predator's. Despite great efforts by all players, the goal post was not our friend in that game.  The Rebels scored twice in the second and twice in the third to win the game with a score of 5-1.

In an exhibition match up for Hockey Day in Wiarton on November 29th the Pee Wee Reps played another great game against the Saugeen Shores Storm BB team.  It was an edge of your seat thriller as there were plenty of opportunites to score in the first period but both goalies stopped all shots.  Bruce Peninsula scored twice in the second to take a 2-0 lead.  Goal scorers were Hayden and Nic.  Assists went to Trenton and Clayton. Graham helped out on both. Early in the third period Saugeen Shores got on the board.  The play was back and forth and both teams dug deep.  The goal tending continued to keep the Pee Wee Reps in the lead.  With a questionable penalty called on the Predator's with only a couple of minutes left on the clock the game intensified.  Saugeen Shores pulled their goalie to add the extra skater and with only fifteen seconds left, they scored to tie the game!

Friday, December 6 the Pee Wee Reps headed to Teeswater for a late starting game against the first place South Bruce Reps.  Both teams battled hard for the first ten minutes of play.  South Bruce scored with only seconds left in the first period to take the lead.  Jon C. in net made some great saves but South Bruce dominated the play for the second and third periods.  The final score was South Bruce 8, Bruce Peninsula 0.

Saturday, December 7th South Bruce arrived at Lion's Head ready to take on the Predator's in their second and final match up in regular season play.  Bruce Peninsula came out strong and eager to have a better end result than the night before. They worked hard and stepped up their play.  Nic got the Reps on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal in the second period.  South Bruce fought hard and scored two goals to close the second period of play with a 2-1 lead.  Jon C. in net made tremendous saves for the Predator's and did not allow South Bruce to score again in the third period.  The entire team along with AP's Sam B., and Daniel fought hard and worked together but were unable to score to tie things up before the final buzzer.  They lost the game 2-1, but it felt like a win against such a talented team.

This week the Pee Wee Reps are in Wingham @7 on Thursday, December 12th to play their first game of the season against the Ironmen.  On Saturday, December 14th they are at home in Lion's Head @2 PM playing against West Grey.
