End of OMHA and Beginning of WOAA Play-Offs
The Peninsula Predator's OMHA play downs have ended with Shallow Lake advancing to the next round. 

Sunday, January 19 the Predator's hosted the Shallow Lake Lakers in Wiarton for game #1 in the OMHA Second Round best of five Series. The Peninsula team was on the scoreboard first with a goal half-way through the opening period.  (Nic assisted by Hayden). The Lakers evened the score with one minute remaining in the first ten minutes of play. Shallow Lake dominated the next two periods as they were able to score seven more times.  Late in the Third Period, Nic with help from Trenton and Daniel scored the second goal for the Pee Wee Reps. The Laker's won the game 8-2 and took a 1-0 lead in the Series.

Game #2 was in Shallow Lake on Monday, January 20. The first ten minutes of play were the best of the game as both teams fought hard and both goalies played well.  There was no scoring in the First Period.  The Laker's scored first in the Second Period to take a one goal lead.  Trenton assisted by Jonathan P. and Caleb tied the game up with 3:34 remaining in the Second.  Shallow Lake ended the period with another goal and took a 2-1 lead.  The Laker's came out hard in the Third Period.  They scored three more times.  The Pee Wee Reps were only able to get on the board once in the final fifteen minutes of play (Jonathan P., assisted by Trenton and Hayden).  Shallow Lake won the game 5-2 and took a 2-0 lead in the Series.

On January 23 in Wiarton, Game #3 played out much the same as the first two game in the Series. The Predator's lost the game 6-2.  Both Bruce Peninsula goals were scored by Jonathan P. The first goal in the Second Period was assisted by Nic and Graham while his second goal near the end of the Third Period was unassisted. Shallow Lake won the best of five Series 3-0. The Predator's were put out of the OMHA Play-Offs.

WOAA Neilson Division Play-Offs have started with a home and home series with three other teams.  Bruce Peninsula will be playing against Minto AE, Lucknow  and Blyth-Brussels AE team. The top team in this Pool will play in the Finals against the top team in Pool B (Elma-Logan, Listowel AE, TCDMHA, and Mitchell AE).
