Sr Tyke Predators Show Improvement With Big Win
The Bruce Peninsula Time Horton Sr Tyke Predators have been working really hard in practice, and its starting to show in the games now as the kids defeated the Shallow Lake #1 team 8 to 1.
The game was played on Jan 30th in Shallow Lake and was an awakening moment in our season if you will, or a possible TSN turning point as our kids returned to the form we were all too familiar with just a season ago when the majority of this group was walking out of the arena one final time with an undefeated season!
The game started off pretty back and fourth in the neutral zone, and again it was Shallow Lake starting off the scoring on their first shot of the game.
But the Predators came back with a great team effort, putting up 8 goals with no reply!
Robertson MacGregor was very solid with 4 saves as he only saw 5 shots the entire game!
Great team defense and solid play by David Rouse and Asher Simpson on the blue line stymied the Laker attack.
Broguen McManus had 4 goals and 1 assist to lead the Predator scoring while David Rouse had 2 goals and 3 assists and Asher Simpson had 4 assists.
Shailan Miller had 1 goal and 1 assist, Michael Rouse had 1 goal and 1 assist, Angeline Edgar had 2 assists, and both Shiloh McNair and Luke Keeshig had an assist each to round out the offensive outburst.
Way to go kids, you all are really improving and making your coaches & families really proud of you!
