Great Start to the Season
Well the Peninsula Predators have started the season off in a very positive manner, 3 games in and undefeated. Physical play, hard skating and great coaching have given them a very successful start.
On Oct. 26 the Predators opened their season in Lucknow. The team came out to play a very physical, fast , aggressive game. This mindset and hard work paid off to a 10 - 1 win.
On Oct. 31 the Predators were hosts to the Walkerton Capitals in Lions Head. At first the teams appeared to be fairly well matched, but then the Predators claimed their home ice advantage and came out on top with another big win of 8 - 2.
A new month, a new home game center. On Nov. 1 The Predators hosted the Arthur Vipers. Coming out not so physical, put the boys down 2 - 0 early in the game, but not long after the Predators picked up the pace, and this soon paid off as they took the lead. The Predators played a strong second period and left the ice in the lead 4 - 3. The home team could not score in the third, but the Vipers managed to, tying the game and bringing the final score to a 4 - 4 tie.
