Playoffs Begin, Come Make Some Noise!!!
Well the Midget Reps finished their regular season of play above 500. Overall they had a successful season, but sickness and injury definitely had a negative effect on the outcomes of some games.
The midget reps look forward to playoffs and with hopefully a full roster and the help of AP's, they will be successful in playoffs. They reps start OMHA playoffs against South Bruce in Mildmay on Jan. 26. They return to their home ice on Friday Jan. 30 at 8:00 pm. This series is the best out of 5, and both home games will be played in Lions Head at 8:00 on the next two upcoming Friday nights.
At the same time, the reps will be playing a round robin with Durham, Hanover and Arthur. The Reps did not play Hanover in Regular season, but played well and close games against Durham and Arthur, sporting wins, loses and ties. This will be an exciting series with hopefully our reps coming out on top.
Our team has the ability to do very well in playoffs if they carry a full roster with AP`s. We have great physical size and speed among the players. Our great defense lacks no mercy in shutting down the opponents offence, and our offence is definitely beyond their defense. Overall I see exciting playoffs ahead and hopefully maybe a new banner hung in the rink.
Please come out and make some noise and cheer the team on. Be a part of the playoff season, help pump the team up and lift their spirits high. Hopefully this year the Bruce Peninsula Predators will be the 2014/15 Midget Rep Champions.
