Covid 19 Update
After consultation with Grey Bruce Public Health Unit, all sanctioned Bruce Peninsula Minor
Hockey Association activities will resume on Oct 27, 2020.
On Friday, October 23, 2020 the Executive team made the decision to briefly pause all association related events in response to the closure of the Wiarton Arena, resulting from the COVID-19 State of Emergency declared by the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The BPMHA Executive has consulted with Public Health officials and, at this time, find it unnecessary to continue restriction of sanctioned association activities as COVID-19 cases in the area have been classified as cluster cases, community transmission is not of concern at this time.
All sanctioned events will take place at the Lion’s Head Arena, until further notice. Schedules will be available on the association’s website www.northbrucehockey.com.
It is imperative that all players, parents and coaching staff strictly follow all COVID-19 protocols put in place by the association.
If you do not have a copy of these protocols, please let us know immediately and a copy can be sent to you. Otherwise, please make absolutely certain that health screening and contact tracing attendance sheets are completed each time you enter the facility. Also, all players U13 and under must enter the facility dressed, with the exception of skates, and leave the facility dressed. Absolutely no changing in and out of equipment is permitted inside of the facility for these age groups.
