Novice Rep, 2012-2013 (Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey)

The novice reps were eliminated from the playoffs yesterday when they tied the Wingham Ironmen 2-2.  They lost the series by a point margin of 6 to 4.  All in all this team was exciting and a great deal of fun to coach.  Wipe away the tears team and hold your heads up high because we accomplished a great deal this year.  Each and everyone of use improved a great deal and all of use are our MVP's.  I wouldn't change a thing from this year remember we win as a team, we lose as a team and we learn as a team. 

Yesterday the novice rep. Predators won the B side championship in a tournament in Listowel.  They lost game 1 to a tough team from Dresden by a score of 4 to 2 in which the last goal was an empty net goal. Game 2 the Predators played the Minto Mad Dogs and beat them by a score of 5 to 2.  The game went to overtime and the reps. scored 3 goals in 5 minutes.  The final game was against the Wingham Ironmen in which the reps. won by a score of 3 to 1 to capture the championship.  Way to go team everybody out there was an MVP and the coaching staff are very proud of each and everyone of you.  We ...

The novice rep. Predators lost game 4 to the Wingham Ironmen by a score of 3 to 2 in overtime.  The Predators had a 2 to nothing lead up until 7 minutes left in the 3rd when Wingham scored to quick goals in a minute in a half to tie the game at 2.  They then scored the game winner with three and a half minutes left in overtime.  Great game team we will try and get the win in game 5 in Wiarton this Sunday at 3pm and send it to a 6th and final game on Monday in Wingham.

The novice reps. split the weekend games against the Wingham Ironmen.  The Preds. lost Saturdays game in Wingham by a score of 4 to 1.  They bounced back today winning 4 to 2.  The series is tied at 3 points a piece in a 6 point series.  The team looked really good today outshooting Wingham 14 to 11.  Yesterdays game Jayden had the lone goal assisted by Kohan.  Today the goal scorers were Jaxon with 2 and Ben and Hunter with 1. The helpers today went to Jayden and Blake with 2 and Taylor, Hunter and Kohan with 1.  Lets take today's game and carry it over to next Fridays game in Wingham.  ...

The novice rep. Predators went into Shallow Lake last night and skated to a 1 all tie.  Wyatt stopped 17 of 18 shots between the pipes.  The Predators put 12 shots on net with the lone goal for the Predators going to Kohan, assisted by Hunter and Jayden.  Game 3 will be this Saturday at 10am in Wiarton.
