Bantam Local, 2013-2014 (Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey)

On Sunday March 9, the Bantam LL travelled to Lucknow for a tournament to wrap up their season.  The team played a great game, but came up short to Wingham, with a 2/1 final, putting us to the consolation side of the chart.  The  second game we fought hard to the end and came up the winners of the shootout against Milverton with a 3/2 final.  Very exciting!  In our final game against the hosting team Lucknow we hung in to the end, tired but trying our best, but we still came up a goal short in a 3/2 final.  Great way to end the year!

Due to inclement weather, todays game in Mount Forest is cancelled.

Just a reminder, the Bantam LL team has cancelled all practices over the Christmas break.  The teams next outing is in Mount Forest, Jan. 4 @ 5:00 pm.

Today's game can be summed up as just good hockey!  Hosting South Bruce today kept the Predators on their toes and the score at 0 after 2 periods of play.  5 minutes into the third Tyrell Nadjiwon, assisted by Brennen Heathers put the puck past the South Bruce Goalie!  The score remained 1-0 to the last 5 minutes of play when Brendon Howard Scored, assisted by MJ MacKenzie, giving the Predators the comfort zone goal.  Playing a strong last five minutes, the Predators protected their 2-0 lead and won the game, giving their goalie, Chris Latimer his third shut out of the season.  Great effort ...

 West Grey were our guests in Wiarton this evening.  Andy MacFarlane set the pace of this game quickly opening the scoring just 13 seconds into the game, assisted by Brendon Howard and Andre Maisonvenuve.  This really  set the mood for the game, as the Predators never let up.   With three goals in the first, and three in the second, it was looking good for the Preditors...netting one more in the third brought the score to 7 - 0.  With  a little help in the crease from his team mates, Chris Latimer records his second shut out of he season. Other players recording on the game sheet this game ...
