Successful Weekend for Atom Girls
The Atom Girls C Team is busy celebrating a successful weekend of hockey. After facing tough competition the weekend prior in Ayton, the girls came out flying and more determined than ever against the West Grey Warriors on home ice.

The hard fought battle Saturday resulted in a 2-2 tie, with some excellent end to end action throughout the game. Goals were scored by Makayla George and Jenna Bridge, with assists from Chesney Miller, Sydney MacArthur, Katie Maue and Gracie Wheeler. Shout out to goalie Payton Lisk who made some very key saves in the dying minutes of the third period to keep the game tied at 2.
On Sunday, the girls traveled to Lucknow ready for another game and hungry for a win. They showed their determination by battling hard for the puck and never giving up on a play. They also demonstrated an amazing team effort by making good passes and communicating to each other on the ice. Their efforts resulted in a 4-1 win. Goals were scored by Jenna Bridge (2), Sydney MacArthur, and Chesney Miller. Assists went to Molly Solomon, Sydney MacArthur, and Makayla George. Congratulations also goes out to Ashlin Stewart who played an awesome first game in net with the Atom C Team.
The girls would not have been successful without the efforts of everyone on the team. They all played well together as a team and demonstrated a "never give up attitude in both their games.

Congratulations to all the girls on a very successful weekend of hockey
