Pee Wee Reps End Season
The Pee Wee Reps ended their season with one win and a pair of losses.

On Saturday, February 23 the Mount Forest Rams arrived in Wiarton ready to play hard in the first game of the home & home series with the Peninsula Predators.

Period One saw both teams fighting hard and playing well.  The goalies stopped all shots to end the first ten minutes of play scoreless.  In the Second Period, the Predators played short-handed for the majority of the time.  Mount Forest was able to take advantage of this and scored three times.  The Rams scored again early in the third to take a commanding 4-0 lead.  The Pee Wee Reps were able to score twice in the final five minutes of play on goals by Wade (assisted by Jacob) and Rebecca (unassisted).  Numerous penalties were called on the Rams in the third period but the Predators were unable to pull it together and capitalize on these opportunities. Mount Forest won the game 4-2.

Sunday, February 25 saw the Predators travel to Mount Forest to take on the Rams in their second and final game with them in the WOAA playoffs.  Mount Forest came out strong and were hungry for another win.  With only three minutes gone in the First Period, the Rams led the Predators 4-0.  With 1:55 left in the First, Josh (unassisted) put the Peninsula team on the scoreboard.
The Predators scored twice in the Second Period with goals by Daniel (assisted by Clayton and Trenton) and Andrew (unassisted). The Rams also scored twice bringing the score to 6-3 in favor of Mount Forest.
The final period saw the Rams and Predators continue a very physical game. Numerous penalties were called on both teams. Wade assisted by Andrew scored for the Pee Wee Reps.  Mount Forest also scored to end the game with a 7-4 victory.
In the two game home & home series with the Rams Mount Forest served a total of 50 penalty minutes while the Predators served 40 minutes.

On Tuesday, February 26 the Peninsula Predators played their final WOAA playoff game against West Grey.  They had played them four times this season and were unable to get one win against this fast skating squad.  The Pee Wee Reps came out strong.  They were passing and working together. The Predator's goalie, Brennan played one of his best games all season. It was a fabulous game to watch.

Period One saw both teams playing hard.  There was no scoring in the first ten minutes of play.  Early in the second Wade assisted by Andrew and Josh scored for the Predators.  Wade (assisted by Josh) scored again a few shifts later.  The team was excited to have a two goal lead.  West Grey scored late in the second to end the period with the Predators leading 2-1.
Period Three was a fast paced edge of your seat adventure for the Home fans.  The Predators kept the momentum going and were able to (for the first time all season), throw West Grey off of their game.  The clapping fan in the opposition stands fueled the Predators even more.  Brennan continued to keep West Grey off the scoreboard with some amazing saves. Andrew scored the final goal of the game on West Grey's empty net (assists by Josh and Clayton) to end the game with a huge victory for the Predators.

The Pee Wee Reps still have lots of hockey left.  They are playing five games this weekend in the Chris Knott Memorial tournament in Saugeen Shores and they are also playing in the Aylmer tournament Easter Weekend.
