Win for Pinkertons Bantam Reps
In Lions Head on Saturday, the Pinkertons Auto Supply Bantam Reps defeated the Lucknow Sepoys 8-4 in WOAA regular season play. First period goals scored by Brendan Gilbert, Dexter Bridge and Benton Lancaster gave the Predators a 3-0 lead.
With goaltender Kevin Furgal stopping several of Lucknow's many opportunities, the second period goals were scored by Brandon Fletcher (2), Brendan Gilbert's second of the game as well as Dexter Bridge's second of the game allowed for a comfortable lead; maybe a little to comfortable as the Sepoys scored 1 in the second and 3 goals in the third period to narrow the gap. After a well played first and second period, the Predators were looking for ways to focus and move the puck in the third period. Clay Hellyer closed out the scoring in the game with a nice pick from an excellent feed that came from Benton Lancaster. Next play for the Predators will be next weekend Nov 10 as they travel to the Clifford Tournament.
