Sr Tykes On Top Of Their Game in Victory
The Bruce Peninsula Tim Horton's Sr Tyke Predators were in Tara on Feb 12th to take on the AEMHA Ice Dogs Sr Tykes.
The game was just outstanding for our kids as they held the home team off the shot clock the entire game in the 10 to 0 victory.
But for Robertson, as he stated to the coaches after the game, quote unquote,
'Don't forget, that this still counts as a shutout coach!'
Right you are Robertson, they don't ask how, they just ask how many, so congrats bud on the shut out and maintaining your focus through out the game to earn yourself a win between the pipes.
The team offensive charge was led by Wyatt Thomas who had 4 goals and 4 assists.
David Rouse had 3 goals and 2 assists, while Asher Simpson had 5 assists.
Michael Rouse had a goal and 1 assist, Shailan Miller and Broguen McManus had 1 goal and 2 assists each while Ryan and Nathan Hickey each had 2 assists in the game.
Awesome game kids! We got a lot of nice compliments from the other team coaching staff, and the referee's commented on your sportsmanship too!
Really like to point out the wonderful passing we saw in the game especially from Wyatt, David, Michael & Asher!
Also, the Clearing on off sides was perfect, great effort in learning this new rule from Ryan & Nathan!
