PeeWee PREDATORS Win!
With a great effort from all girls and boys the Peewee predators pounced on the Saugeen Shores team from the drop of the puck....
Keith Rouse scored the opener at 11:32 of the first period with a great end to end rush, though he wasn't credited he had a helper on the next goal. Way to go! Our D was stellar with only 3 players Lucas, Keith and Brock. With "the flash" as our goalie Jimmy St. Marie, they held their own for three periods and didn't give up one break away. Awesome job boys!
Up front the line of Emma, Emily and Finn were a force on both offence and D. They had good cycling and had a few breakaways, keep your sticks on the ice and you will be rewarded in front of the net. The line of Ryan, Larrisia and Justin were unstoppable. The Storm was silenced by Ryan Nearingburg with 4 goals, two of them on a breakaway.
Awesome first game!
