Predators Finish 2015 With Another Victory...
The Bruce Peninsula Predators Novice #1 team came back from the Christmas break on Dec 27th to play their last game of 2015 before heading into the New Year schedule.
The game was played in Tara against the AEMHA Ice Dogs Red #1 team in front of a really large crowd.
Michael Rouse was in net once again for the Predators and he had to make a few saves late in the game after some high risk moves in front of our net by our players.
The team over all was strong, and the play of Ashton Boyle was terrific as he got a chance to play some right wing with a short handed club.
also showing well on the ice was the play of AP Nathan Miller who played a great game of defence at the age of 6.
This was great for the kids to continue their winning streak and show us that Christmas hadn't completely taken over their ability to play a complete game of hockey.
With many grandparents, cousins, Aunts & Uncles etc in the stands for both teams, the players were excited to show off their abilities and this was no different for Skyler Campigotto who scored 4 times and added 1 assist in a 6 to 1 victory.
Also scoring were Asher Simpson with 1 goal and 2 assists, Dalton Fries with 1 goal and 1 assist, Shailan Miller with 3 assists, Ashton Boyle with 2 assists, while Nathan Miller, Mason Fortin and Lillie Dowd each had 1 assists a piece to round out the offensive out burst.
That was so exciting to watch you kids respond that way over the holidays and we are so proud of each and every one of you for stepping up with such a short bench.
