Preds Win Divisional Title...
Submitted By bmiller on Sat 03 12, 16
The Bruce Peninsula Predators Novice #1 Local League team travelled to Southampton today for the 6th and final round robin playoff game vs the Saugeen shores Storm #1 squad.

The last time they played, we lost 1 to 0 at home, and even though we played extremely well that day, we just couldn't buy a goal.

But this time, we were hot and scored plenty as we went onto win 8 to 1.
This also gave us 1st place and crowned our kids the North-west divisional round robin Champions and now we move onto the WOAA 'A' Finalists Championship series vs Saugeen Shores Storm #3!

Michael Rouse wasn't very busy, but did make a real solid save in the 3rd period and allowed the only goal against in the 2nd period.

Dalton Fries had a big game posting a hat trick and 2 assists in the contest.
Mason Fortin was excellent scoring the game winner once again and adding 3 assists.
Payton Cawthrone played an excellent game too as she set up Mason for the eventual winner early on in the first period.

Skyler Campigotto scored 2 goals and Gabriel McNair had the first goal of the game on a beautiful wrist shot blocker side.
Asher Simpson scored 1 goal and also added 3 assists while Shailan Miller and Shiloh McNair had 2 assists each.
Ashton Boyle, Broguen McManus & Lillie Dowd all contributed with 1 assist a piece.

Great passing and team work by everyone helped to secure this victory, one of our best games all season long!
Way to go kids, you keep working like this as a team and only the best outcomes will follow!
