Preds hold off Warrior shooters
The PeeWee girls and boys came out strong on saturday against the third place West Grey Warriors scoring first and never looked back.
Emma B picked up the loose puck in front after a nice wraparound attempt buy Emily E to put us up by one early. Sasha O took a nice feed from Traytan and had the goalie going the wrong way with a nice deak. The Warriors got one back just before the end of the first but the Preds scored early in the second to regain the two goal lead. Josh G received a pass from Sasha for a breakaway and made a nice top shelf shot.West Grey got undressed when they turned the puck over at our blue line and Ryan N went through the blue shirts and ended up on a break away and scored to put us up by two. The kids played good D and when they made a mistake Reid G was there to shut the door.
