This team came to win!
The Mount Forest Rams came to Lions Head and found out that our Pee Wee Local boys and girls are a team on the move.
Both teams were held scoreless for the first period with great defence at both ends and even better goaltending. Mount Forest's only threat scored twice in the early part of the second and late in the third, but it was not enough to stop the team effort from the Predators. Scoring first and again late in the third with 3 points total and sealing our victory was Sasha. Josh had a 3 point night and with a parent gasping breakaway Tristan also had a 3 point night but was stopped on his breakaway. Next time!
Emma and Emily both had great games and were a real threat to the opposing defence, with a hard fought rebound they each got a goal and Emma picked up a helper on Emily's. Emily had some great chances by playing perfect positional play in the neutral zone and received some great passes. Keep battling girls!
Ryan picked up a rebound in our end and went coast to coast for nice goal. Yes Reid got the assist.
I would like to point out that for the second game in a row both Kiniw and Damion both made the game sheet with an assist each. This was a great example of how far the kids have come this year and the coaching staff are really impressed with there progress.
