Predators Face The Last Storm
Submitted By bmiller on Mon 03 25, 13
The Saugeen Shores Storm came to Wiarton for the last meeting of the season and the last home game of the year for the Predators.

The game was eventful as usual with both teams getting scoring chances at each end.
The Saugeen Storm struck first with 10 seconds left in the first period.

The storm would make it 2 to 0 in the second period and go up 3 to 0 in the 3rd period with just 7 minutes remaining.

1 minute and a half later, the Predators would strike back.
After a shot on Laura Naves, Defence women, Ashlin Stewart would take the puck end to end and beat the goalie on the low glove side.  Naves would get the only assist on the play.

The game ended with a couple of Predator chances, but in the end, the Storm took the final meeting 3 to 1.

Nice try girls!  Congrats to the Storm on a amazing season.  They only lost 3 games all season and won the International silver Stick as the host village.
Way to go Coach Chris!
