Novice Girls, 2012-2013 (Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey)

The Saugeen Shores Storm came to Wiarton for the last meeting of the season and the last home game of the year for the Predators. The game was eventful as usual with both teams getting scoring chances at each end. The Saugeen Storm struck first with 10 seconds left in the first period.

The Novice girls have had quite a year so far, first time game ever played in Lions Head by a novice girls team. First ever International Silver Stick Tournament for a novice girls team.

The Peninsula Predators Novice 'C' Girls visited the Saugeen Shores Storm in Southhampton last week and lost a very hard fought battle 4 to 0. The two teams had just played each other over the weekend at the International Silver Stick tournament in which the Predators finished second after round robin and 3rd overall while Storm went undefeated in the tournament and became the 2013 champs.

The International Silver Stick Tournament in memory of Caitlyn Cobean was a success full of great competition and exciting games.

The Peninsula Predators finished in 2nd place in round robin play and entered the semi final match as the home team in a rematch between the South Huron Sabres of Exeter. The game was another close checking affair with the Sabres out shooting the Predators 10 to 9.
